Home & Hydrangea is operated by King & Associates, LLC, in Lake Ann, Michigan. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, billing address, delivery address, the items and options you chose, your preferred delivery week, and any notes or access instructions you give us (gate codes, HOA requirements, where to place the display).
When you contact us: your name, email, phone, the town you're in, what you're looking for, your budget range, and any photographs of your home you choose to send.
Payment information: card numbers are collected and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only a confirmation, the last four digits, and the card brand.
Automatically: basic website analytics — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This is standard traffic measurement, not a profile of you.
If your order is a gift: the recipient's name, address, and, if you give it to us, their phone number, so we can coordinate delivery with the person whose porch it is.
Why we collect it
To take and fulfill your order; to schedule delivery, installation, and end-of-season removal; to contact you about your specific order; to take payment and handle refunds; to keep the accounting and sales-tax records Michigan requires; and — only if you ask for it — to tell you when a new season's collection opens.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising.
Text messages
We confirm delivery days and coordinate installation and removal by text message, because it's the fastest way to reach someone about a specific day. By giving us your mobile number at checkout you agree we may text you about your order.

Opting out of texts does not cancel your order — we will email you instead.
Marketing texts, if we ever send them, require separate consent that you can withdraw the same way.
Order confirmations, delivery updates, and receipts are transactional — they come with your order and you can't unsubscribe from them without cancelling.
Our seasonal announcement list is separate and optional. You only join by asking. Every message has an unsubscribe link and we honor it immediately.
Who we share it with
We use these companies to run the business. Each receives only what it needs:

Photographs
We may photograph completed displays for our website and social media. We never publish street addresses or house numbers, and we don't identify customers by name without asking. If you'd rather we didn't photograph your porch at all, tell us — at checkout or any time before delivery — and we won't. It costs you nothing and we won't ask why.
Photographs you send us of your own home are used only to answer your question and plan your display.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require — generally seven years. Contact records are kept while you're a customer and for a reasonable period afterward, so we recognize you next season. Marketing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete information we don't have to keep, stop texting you, stop emailing you, or not photograph your property. Email hello@homeandhydrangea.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Some records — completed orders, payment records, tax documentation — we're required to retain even after a deletion request. We'll tell you if that applies.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. Ask and we'll honor them.
Security
Payments are processed by Stripe over an encrypted connection and card numbers never reach our systems. The site runs over HTTPS. Our accounts are protected with two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't claim otherwise — but we don't hold card data, which is the part that matters most.
Children
This site is meant for adults and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
