No consultations to schedule, no quotes to wait on, no one coming to your house to sell you something. You order online, we build it, we bring it. About a week, start to finish.
01 — You order
Pick the size that matches your porch, and decide one thing: whether you’d like us to take it away in November. At checkout we ask for your address, the week you'd prefer, and a few quick details about the space — how many steps, how much sun, whether there's a dog we should expect.
Payment is in full at the time of order. That's what reserves your materials and your spot on the calendar.
02 — We design
Within a day or two you'll hear from us to confirm your delivery day. If anything about your porch needs a decision — a narrow step, a north-facing entry where mums will sulk, a color you love or can't stand — that's when we sort it out. Sometimes we'll ask for a photo of the front of your house. It helps more than you'd think.
Then it gets built. Mums are picked the week they go out, not stockpiled. Pumpkins are chosen by hand, one at a time, for shape and stem.
03 — We deliver and install
You'll get a text the morning of. You do not need to be home.
We build it on your porch. We move what needs moving, arrange it against the house, step back to the street to check it, adjust, sweep, and take the packaging with us. You come home to a finished porch and no evidence that anyone was there.
If you would rather arrange it yourself, tell us when you order and we will drop everything neatly by your door instead. Same price - the only difference is who does the arranging.
04 — You enjoy it for two months
Mums want water — a good soak every two or three days, more in a dry September, less once it turns. Everything else takes care of itself. Pumpkins and gourds hold up well through a northern Michigan autumn; a hard freeze in late October may soften a few of the thinner-skinned ones, which is normal and part of how they look.
05 — We come back for it
If you added end-of-season removal, we'll be in touch in early November to set a day. We load everything into the truck — mums, stalks, pumpkins, gourds, containers — and compost what composts. Nothing goes in your bin and nothing ends up in the garage waiting for spring.
If you didn't add it, you can still add it later. Just email us before November 1 and we'll send an invoice.
One more thing worth saying
If you order the wrong size, tell us. Before we build, we'll switch you up or down and settle the difference either way. We would much rather move a number than deliver something that swallows your front step.
