  • Lake Ann, Traverse City, Interlochen, Honor, Beulah, Benzonia, Empire, Thompsonville, Frankfort, Elberta, Kingsley, Suttons Bay, Cedar, Maple City, Lake Leelanau, Grawn, Buckley, Copemish, Elk Rapids and Northport. Delivery and setup are included in every size. If your zip code is not one of ours, checkout will not offer delivery - email us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.

  • Possibly. Our list already stretches from Frankfort up to Northport and across to Elk Rapids, and we would rather say yes than not. Email us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you this season.

  • Not yet. Fresh mums, real pumpkins, and cut stalks don’t survive a freight truck, and we won’t send you something we wouldn’t want on our own porch. Shipping smaller pieces to other parts of Michigan is on the list for a future season.

  • Autumn deliveries run from mid-September through mid-October. At checkout you choose a preferred week. We’ll confirm the exact day by text, usually within two days of your order. Weeks fill in order of booking, so the earlier you order, the more choice you have.

  • You can tell us the date you’re hoping for in the notes and we’ll do our best. We work in weeks rather than fixed appointments because mums and weather don’t cooperate with a rigid schedule, and because we’d rather deliver something good a day later than something rushed on time.

  • No. We work on the porch and let ourselves out of the yard. Tell us at checkout if you’d rather be there and we’ll aim for a time that works.

  • The Welcome Home suits a stoop, a condo entry, or an ordinary set of front steps, and it fits most houses. The Designer Doorstep is for a covered porch or a wider entry - about twice the material, plus extras chosen for your space. The Custom is for when you want the whole front of the house to read together, or for a business or an event. If you are not sure, send a photo through the contact page and we will tell you honestly, including if the smaller one is right.

  • Tell us what you are after in the notes at checkout - classic orange and cream, deep burgundy and plum, white and green with naturals, or leave it to us. Beyond that, the specific mums and pumpkins depend on what is good that week. Trusting the designer’s eye tends to give the best result, but we understand if your front door is a color with opinions.

  • We’ll move it, usually by a day, and text you. Rain is fine; a real storm is not, mostly because arranging in wind is a bad way to make something look considered.

  • Yes. Every size includes delivery and setup. End-of-season removal is the only optional part.

  • It’ll look like the same hand made it, at the same scale, in the same palette. It won’t be identical, because these are grown things and no two crops of mums are the same. That’s the trade you make for real material instead of plastic.

  • Water the mums well every two or three days. Everything else is on its own, and a hose spigot within reach makes the whole season easier.

  • Yes. Businesses, weddings, a specific palette, an unusual entry, a display for a house you don’t live in - all fine. Use the contact page and tell us what you’re picturing.

  • For $100 we come back in November, take the entire display away, and compost what can be composted. We’ll contact you in early November to set the day. You don’t have to be home, and you don’t have to do anything to prepare. Add it at checkout on The Welcome Home or The Designer Doorstep. It’s already included in The Custom.

  • The display is yours to keep or clear. Plenty of people do it themselves - mums can go in the ground, pumpkins and gourds compost or feed the local deer, and the containers are worth keeping for spring. You can also add removal later; email us before November 1.

  • Plant material is composted. Containers are cleaned and reused where they’re still good. We try hard to keep this out of a landfill, and we’d rather tell you that plainly than call it a sustainability program.

  • Yes - a winter greenery collection opens in November. Tick the box at checkout and we’ll email you the day it goes live.
